Under his leadership, Valeo Futbol Group has become a pioneering nonprofit organization based in Boston, dedicated to identifying and nurturing talent in the global youth sports community. Today, Valeo serves over 2,000 young athletes through extensive training facilities, youth programs, and residential academies in Jamaica, Kenya, and the United States, alongside professional teams in the U.S., Portugal, and Ireland. Thanks to Valeo’s efforts, hundreds of athletes have gone on to pursue collegiate careers in soccer, with dozens reaching professional ranks.
Beyond his work in sports, Emelio brings a rich background in technology, having held executive roles across startups and midsized enterprises. Known for his expertise in marketing, business development, and strategic growth, Emelio has been instrumental in scaling both software and hardware companies. His unique combination of business acumen and passion for youth development aligns seamlessly with First Eleven’s mission of preparing student-athletes for collegiate success.
